Anniversary

Such a word makes me think of survival. Counting up to it, month after month, my girlfriend and I 'finally' reached this milestone. We've lasted a year. But measuring is something I'm not comfortable doing, because it gets away from what is being measured, eventually. So, as she wrote herself, today is another day of us being together, and another phase of our upgrowing.
